Thyborøn Skibssmedie A/S was founded in 1967 by master blacksmith Børge Stausholm Andreasen. Since 1967, the company has specialized in the manufacture of trawl buckets. Based on the V-trawl bucket, Thyborøn Skibssmedie has undergone continuous development over the years.

Thyborøn Trawl Buckets are used by fishermen on all continents for all kinds of pelagic, semi-pelagic and bottom fishing.

In collaboration with fishermen and technical experts from the world’s leading test tanks, Thyborøn Skibssmedie continuously strives to improve and further develop trawl buckets. Thyborøn Trawl Buckets are manufactured in 1st class materials with material certificates, by an experienced and well-trained staff.

The experience of the workforce combined with optimal technical tools and implemented work procedures results in consistent production, which of course results in high quality products with a minimum of errors.

The flexibility in production and among the employees naturally also results in Thyborøn Skibssmedie being able to offer tailor-made products that are adapted to the individual customer’s wishes and needs.
